now here's a funny dream I had today:
I saw John Goodman (I think it was him ) start running down a field, and he jumped and took of flying into the air! I thought: Wow, that sure looks like a lucid dream!!
At no time did I bother reality checking or actually realizing that I was dreaming! funny, eh?

Trust me, that is the way it works, Iv had tons of these. Im not a pro, I cant get them to happen when I want them do. Probably because I dont want them too, I enjoy spontenaity.

I read a book on lucid dreaming once, INCREADIBLY REPETATIVE

WOW!!! That really works!! My gosh! That was amazing! I just had my first lucid dream last night. . .

I ask myself about every 20 minutes. When I woke up, I had only gotten 7 hours of sleep, but I had never felt more awake in my life. It feels strange.

One of my friends has already started about 2 weeks ago, and he loves it. He usually dreams about nothing but his "deep fantasies." I'm wanting to try flying tonight, or maybe something else....

I've also heard that you can spontaneously activate a book you've PhotoRead in your sleep. Is this true??

I have nightmares quite often (I could doze off 5 times into 5 different nightmares). That can really suck at time. I decided that I would neve be afraid in my dreams if I could help it. I once became Jet Lee when some guys were chasing me and I kick the mess out of them. So far I can only do it in extreme situations like that. But in my dreams I am the hunter and not the hunted.
