Thanks for all the replies. I've decided that I am not going to follow the instructions for flipping pages in the manual. They are too confusing, unless someone can show you exactly how to do it, or explain it in more detail. I am going to experiment with different techniques to see what works best. I am also going to follow Michaelbe's advice, and take it slow if it becomes hard to turn the pages.

The only thing is, some pages in a book are harder to turn than others. They will always stick together when you try to turn them. Therefore I am not sure about this concept of letting go and hoping to get it right on the second try. Chances are it's going to be the same pages 'glued together' again. Any thoughts or experiences about that?
