Actually, a couple people here were pretty good speedreaders before PRing.
I took the Evelyn Woods course and was pretty successful with it, and Andy took a similar one as well.
On my part, I'd say it helped a lot, and when the reading isn't too dense I'm able to activate paragraphs at a time.
