You'll understand it better once you start working with the course. You'll find that your regular reading speed increases within the first 3 tapes. Just do the course as instructed step by step. PhotoReading is not speed reading... PhotoReading is a method of getting the information you want out of a book quickly.

Yeah, but at that velocity (10,000/12,000 wpm), what can you understand of the text? I mean, at that velocity you should flip about a page per second, like photoreading. how a person can read so fast with the eyes movement only?

If it's really possible in some way to read at that speed maintaining the comprehension of the text, any advice is appreciated. I learned to speed read by myself, by searching on the net some FAQs about it.

focus on the margins. I am self taught and that is the way that I do it for speed reading to get excelent comprehension.

Uhm..sorry, but I don't get it very well. Maybe because English is not actually my mother tongue. For "margins" do you mean the extreme left and the extreme right of a line?
