I have begun using the PhotoReading technique and I understand that we are all different, but can anything be said about how much practice an average person need before the first feelings of success comes? Should I expect to PhotoRead for a couple of days, weeks or more? How long did it take for you?

This is one of the hardest questions to answer, not only because everyone learns at different speeds but becuase the system can be used automatically. The product review or whatever its called said that you could read 3 times faster without practice. If you are wondering how long until you are up to 25,000 that could be years. BUT DONT LET THAT STOP YOU, its an exiting trip.

I'm prepared to give this a lot of time if I can see improvements along the way. If I PhotoRead a book and afterwards could say that I knew just one word afterwards, that I didn't know before, it would be a great success (as long as that word didn't catch my eye during preview or postview).

the thing you dont seem to be getting is, this is not magic. Everything you consiously remember is because it popped out at you. Automatic Activation is not just "Oh, it sat there and now I know it" its "Okay, I went through the steps and a few words popped out at me as I went along. I feel like I have an extended comprehension of this book."

#1 thing to remember - you wont get it unless you activate first. Instantaneous only happens on few occasions.

I don't think of it as magic if that's what it sounds like, but I didn't expect to get any recall of things I PhotoRead the first times. I think I've read five books so far and I haven't been able to activate anything, but I haven't excpeted to do so either. I think I need more experience before I can do it exactly right. There are so many steps in the process where I can go wrong. My original question was just to get a feeling for how difficult it is for an "average" person even if that has no connection to me. This is all new to me and experience of others is all I have. :-)

well, let me do a quick personal overview for activating.

Activating is a consious effort. You arent just letting it obsorb anymore. You really just SUPERREAD the sentances etc that stick out at you

Actually, you should see some of the amazing things you can do with the PhotoReading step, and the placebo effect.
