I am currently attemping the 5 day test on pg 77 of the book. I have a question about day 3. When you super read and dip, getting through the entire text in 30 minutes, is that not the same as rapid reading? Or do I just super read and dip every topic in the book that attracts me for 30 minutes? If that is true, why say "getting through the entire text in 30 min?" HELP!

Wgc3rd,

Both superread/dip and rapid reading are forms of activation.

The difference between the two is that rapid reading is used when you want the ultimate in comprehension. You go through the entire text.

Superread/dip is similar in that you only go through selected text that interests or catch's your attention so to speak. (Remeber how they describe Superman hovering above the earth and dipping when something catch's his interest?)

The time limitation is mentioned because activation is best done in 30 minute intervals. If you want, after 30 minutes, break for a bit, then continue activation if you have not completed the entire book.

PR is a system. No, more importantly, it's a Flexible system. Find your style of PR that works Best for you and stick with it.

Good luck.

So it's not "getting throught the entire text in 30 min"? Am I correct in assuming it just means super read and dip for 30 min? I understand that sr/d and rr are two activation forms, I just didn't know which to use here.

According to the book both techniques are different steps of the process, but it says that you can choose if you use both or not, just like Michael Saikali writes.

Best regards,
