Hel, dyslexic, meaning i am mixing up certain letters and numbers. It just started over night and has persisted. Sometimes, even when i go very slow, i still will come to work to find i had entered the wrong numbers. But, i've changed and become more laid back and the guys are very kind about my dyslexic stuff. I'd rather be dyslexic and not uptight than the way it was before. It's a good trade off for me. Plus, i think it'll eventually go away, i'm only at P.1.1, so i have a long way to go. It's a strange product in some respects. Figure that for 51 years of my life i was never dyslexic at all, not remotely. Then suddenly i am. The only change in my life was the addition of h/s. I also broke my wrist 6 weeks into AP due to a primal panic that i was not able to recognize as overwhelm. But, i never considered stopping because it is a terrific product for personal growth.

Mike,
No offense taken. The confusion arose because i answered your first post. Somehow i intuited that you were unsuccessful w/ PhRing and were using the CRI product, but it was not stated by you.

Here's the thing about h/s. Say you were a very uptight person. When you first listen to h/s, you will experience great relief from this uptightness. It will feel like a blessing. This is often the time when people estatically write to CRI. So many of their testimonials are: I've been using AP for 2..3..4..weeks & WOW

Where did the uptightness go? NOWHERE It'll come back in a about 6-8 weeks. It could be physical sickness or irritation or over eating. The body/mind/spirit will process it and you will have to release it in order to experience the real freedom h/s is capable of bringing.

There's just no way to fully explain it to people b/c it's your process. However, i've read so many posts and testimonials that there is a pattern and it is the pattern i'm presently speaking to. Your process may be entirely different.

Now that you have explained more about your situation, i can say that Silva techniques, especially their programming, would be of great benefit to you. Please NEVER settle for speed reading It's a disservice to your brain Hang in there and in your most playful manner of total carelessness do the PhRing course again.

Because i'm old and had no pressure on me to learn PhRing yesterday, i learned it easily. But, it opened up to me my total lack of trust in my intuition or my other-than-conscious mind. Intuition training has helped me greatly & i've done that by reading books...and practice... Took the car to the mechanic and he kept saying this and that was wrong. Practice... i guessed the bill would be %62.80. The bill was $61.99. For me this was success Fine tuning.

There is NO high like a PhRing high. Please don't settle for speed reading when you have untapped abilities waiting to aid you in every aspect of your life.

I can't recommend GC yet, but i can recommend Silva...just get that little blue book for $7.99 by him. And, yes, h/s may very well help you w/ activation skills, but it's a little risky. Something tells me that anyone who quit on PhRing and was in a PhD program has issues of some kind. Striving for the higher academic levels in one's field and quitting on a product that is so easy to use that even 12, 13 yr. old kids are blasting away at successfully says something.

It opened me up to my vulnerablities. I was instantly successful w/ PhRing and activation and i felt so threatened by it all that i was too embarassed to even tell Dana. Our genius can be very scary when it actually shows up.

Thanks Margaret.
I just received this week's "Fortune" and read an article in it about top executives and other high achievers who are/were dyslexic. They had a very had time in school. But it seems that they just have a different way of picking up and processing info. So those who managed to get out of the education system unscathed could end up having an edge when they are in the working world in that they tend to be "creative" and "intuitive", meaning they do not see/think the same way as their colleagues. It seems that they see in images, 3D technicolor, and are more able to think outside the box. So maybe indeed the sudden onset of dyslexia has to do with your activating a particular part of your brain/mind, neuro-connections, which until then was more or less dormant.

You are absolutely correct about me having issues. Around my friends and family I am considered to be pretty bright (although I consider myself as being quite average), but I am an average student at best in my program. Most of my fellow classmates have such a head start on me that it takes a lot of effort on my part to even reach their starting point. This continuous extra effort wears me down at times. I thought the results from photoreading would come a lot quicker and would be a lot more pronounced, but it looks like it could take some time (even years).

I am hoping Centerpointe and some of the subliminal tapes will help to open my mind and help me to realize my true mental potential, (which I hope is far above where I am now). I am not sure if photoreading is that easy, but you have done such a good job at making feel like I gave up to quick that I am going to go through the program again.

Thanks for your help!

P.S.
I also learned that I should proof read my postings when I am cutting and pasting :-)

Hel, Thanks for your insight. It's what i was thinking as well, but not in any technical terms. It's heartening to read what you have written. Thanks for taking the time to shine some light on my dyslexia.

Mike, absolutely, h/s will speak to your issues and enable you to resolve them quickly IF you just release whatever comes up. Don't waste too much time analyzing stuff. If you start to get irritated and short w/ people, just go find a quiet spot and release it via visualization or w/ your breath or via focusing where you feel stuff in your body.

I'm so glad you have decided to give PhRing a second chance. I think many people who find a lack of success w/ PhRing are people who are afraid in some way of their total potential. This fits you. Others see you as bright and you see yourself as average and not up to par w/ your program peers.

One nice thing is Bill's GAP management article in MindChatter. Use your IDEAL as a stimulus to push you onward. But, a IDEAL, like the horizon, is unreachable. It's only used to motivate us.

What you want to do is when you want to access your progress-----LOOK BACK to where you started. So, don't compare yourself to your program peers. Rather, compare yourself to where you were when you started. Progress? I'll bet you can see progress. Then after looking at your progress, take some time to CELELBRATE yourself and your success.
