I'm not trying to slam mindmapping. I have used it to take notes in class for the past few years and it has worked very well.
I'm wondering, however, if anyone else ever comes accross readings or other types of material that is simply easier to take linear notes on. There's just some stuff out there that's so condensed already that mindmapping is a pain.
