Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Math Ability Improved?!

I've been using PhotoReading for coming up on around half a year, to nearly a year now. Not sure how long, but recently in my math class, to multiply something like 78x8, I'd whiz through it by writing it down on paper. Or with division: 6/3450

So recently, I had slowed down. My mind was kind of "tired" or at least. . .it felt that way. (You know how those times are.) So I wrote down a problem, my mind blank, and just wrote down some numbers.

After I guessed how many times 6 went into a certain number, I checked it again. I was right. I did another division problem. This time, the number 16 going into a number in the thousands. Again, it was correct after only guessing! Could PR's abiltity to improve the relation between the subconious and concious have played a part in this? I didn't even do anything! Even after I guessed the number, I multiplied the number without writing it down!

The subconious can multiply huge numbers and get them correct instantly. . .am I right??

Multiplication seems like a simple problem for the "other than conscious mind".

I woke up with the proof to a math problem once. I and several others (all A math students) had tried to solve for a few hours the day before. And I know of others who had similar experiences.

Besides.... just where were you getting the questions from... Seems like the other than conscious mind already knew the answer when it gave you the question.

Actually, the other than concious mind probably knows the answer to every math problem imaginable, but. . .you just can't bring it there. The concious mind. . .very weak, takes WAY long to learn the multiplication tables(well, for you to recall them).

Perhaps PR has a "Little Man Tate" effect....

Reminds me of my grandfather... got thrown out of the classroom for knowing the answer to a math problem before the teacher had written it on the board. Asked him how he did it he couldn't explain. He also solve an impossible math problem. My granfather was a creative thinker it seemed. Invented the foot peddle for the weaving loom at that time women were bruising their thigh changing weave. He was the kind of man you wouldn't want to have a logic discussion with. He argued that a horse has 8 legs. 2 at the front 2 at the back 2 on the left and 2 on the right add that he'd say

Seriously I think the deeper mind is more capable of problem solving than we allow it to be. Techniques like PR do open the channel so to speak.

Hi Everyone.
It's funny, but a lot of what PR and other right-hemisphere orientated abilities (eg the spontaneous maths solutions) seem to replicate the extraordinary skills posessed by some of those suffering from autism. Maybe autistic individuals are natural PR'rs? Or maybe extremely right-brain dominant? Whatya think? N
