Sometimes I don't see the blip page. Usually then I am noticing the four edges. It really depends on what I am concentrating on. It is correct you don't have to see the blip page it just a confidence booster that you are in fact in photofocus... as long as you are not focusing on the words you are in photofocus.
Ironically, I was able to get the blip page by the technique first described on the tapes. I didn't really concern myself that I couldn't hold it at first... after about 3 books I sort of went... hey the blip page is holding. I notice when I think about looking at the 4 edges the blip pages sort of fades... it's there but ghost like.
