Xehupatl,
Uhmm... I'm not sure I heard you right, *rubs little pinkie in his ear*, I don't think you were very clear on your last post, did you say you were 'gonna try it'? LOL

I've been reading your topic and since you already ordered it, have you got it yet? Have you started it yet? If you have, what do you think about it up to now?
If not, when will you get it? Can you find out when you will get it? Did you order it ground shipment?

Am I pestering you? To many questions in one post, don't you think?

Your honest input would be appreciated!

yeah my last post was a bit confused because I had already ordered it and suddenly everybody started telling me that Dane Spotts is a con guy, liar, cheat and trickster. I started worrying about my $330!
In fact, the service was good, but extremely expensive.
I wondered why shipping cost me 80 bucks. Well I found out when it arrived 3 days after ordering it (normally packages from the USA take at least 3 weeks to arrive) - they sent it UPS Next Day Air! Umm yeah well I had no other choice that was the only shipment option (it was called "Standard"), and I didn't really mind. The next big shock was having to pay another 100 bucks for customs (I have no clue how I am supposed to pay of my credit card bill )
Well there's a lot of stuff, The 5-level meditation system (called: "The Beginning", "Transformation", "Awareness", "Cactacean Mind Link" and "Near Death Experience"), which has got great soundtracks over the "entrainment matrix" (which is a low, extremely cool hummmming tone, and it entrains quite well). You just listen to each of the levels at least for 30 days, and each is just 30 minuted long.
I had also ordered the 6th level of the meditation system, which is called "Eternity", has two 30-minute tracks called "soul journey" and "being" (anybody see the connection between "dive" and "immersion" ? ) it's also got great background sounds and these have got subliminal messages on them. You can perceive them, but they don't really bother me.

Another thing you get are 9 CD's called the "Transcendental Mind Library", each aslo 30 minuted long, featuring "sacred sounds" from different cultures (for example: "Aboriginal Dream Time", "Eskimo Spirits", "Avatar Awakening" ...) also all with an entrainment matrix.
Then there are 8 CDs which is the "Healing Music Library". These are some Nature Sounds and some Music along with the entrainment sounds. These are called, for example: "Healing Dreams", "Inenr Child Healing", "Emotional Healing" ...

Then you also get 3 bonus CDs, called "Mind Power Secrets", "The Secret of Living a Perfect Life" and "Finding your Mission in Life".
These are kind of metaphysical in nature, with Dane Spotts talking about Life and stuff, complete with some visualization exercises and some entrainment.

The last thing you get is the Book "Super Brain Power" along with a CD with 2 tracks, on the "Intelligence Supercharger" (entrainment and subliminal messages) and a "mozart superlearning" - something. With a mozart piano piece also with subliminal messages, designed for reading, learning etc.
The first part of the book is Dane writing about his discoveries, the Supercharger CD and how music affects learning.
The Second part deals with unleashing your creativity and genius mind-set, complete with workshops, exercises, stuff about dreams, breathing, journaling, zen mind-set and so on.
To be honest, it's kinda cool!

Now that's a lot of stuff to plod through and experience.
My "Finding your mission in life" is damaged (no visible, just problems reading it and jumping etc.) which is quite frustrating because I have as of now no way of knowing if some of the other CDs are damaged.

For now I'm gonna suspend my Centerpointe Meditation and start up with the 5-level "ultra meditation" system, which is really beautiful and I'm looking forward to meditating each day.
I'm especially interested if the "Near Death Experience" - CD will help me in my quest for conscious-exit OBEs. That track is extremely beautiful, and creepy.

The other CD's I'll just listen to one at a time, when I've got time ... the Healing Music stuff I have used to fall asleep etc.

I like all the stuff I got, and I'm looking forward to working with it ... I think it also appealed to me because it's got more of a mystic nature you know ... I still think Centerpointe is great, and I'm looking forward to doing all 12 levels sometime in the future.

Oh yeah, and another reason why I chose to buy the whole deal, with the trnscendental mind and healing music CDs was because I think they're great when I need to relay and settle down. You see whenever my mind gets really restless I always longed for some music with entrainment that I could pop in and listen to, to get a grip on myself and clear my thinking.
But without someone talking to me (as in paraliminals) or always the same (centerpointe, choice between rain, oasis and quietude - boring!).
I had thought about buying a few Metamusic(R) (hemi-sync) CDs, but they're very expensive and getting and etra 20 CDs for an additional 100 bucks is Good!

But as of now, I'm happy I bought the stuff ... will it keep what Mr. Spott promises? Don't know yet. Got to wait and see.

Phew, now THAT was a long post!! ha! any more questions?

Cheers

Stefan

Interesting Stefan, I had bought some stuff from Zygone in 1991. the Near Death experience tape was quite interesting. The Entrainment came with the Light and sound machine.. it was part of the package. It work well, still works now. The other tapes that came with it like the language ones, and the others (they weren't subliminals then) were quite boring... I never lasted 30 days with any one. The Moodscapes are good... I still use them now with a new L&S device. I notice that in 1994 they started selling CD's I've often been tempted to get them. Now am glad I didn't seeing that many of the L&S devices were faulty during that era.

The problem I found is that it is expensive and too much... you feel like a kid in a candy store don't know which tape want to try first.

I found that the Centerpointe CD never worked for me... I lost my hearing since I originally got the zygone tapes. I find that I can still use the zygone tapes because I can add the entrainment with the L&S device.

I must say that I'm surprised that 4 of the meditation CDs are the same as the tapes I originally purchased. Thanks for the info.

Alex

hey! git yer own forums! lol just kidding... i think that stuff sounds weird, looks to me like the LSC stuff has more useful stuff or its just explained it more detail where i read it. i would like the music but i could just buy a CD for sleeping and not have to spend that much money, are all those CD's towards the same purpose? to play music and help you meditate? what do the subliminal(or paraliminal) messages say, or what is their purpose? hopefully he explained it.

I acutally bought it in 1991 for the light and sound device. The messages on the learning tapes weren't subliminal. The beauty of the L & S device was that it could be used with any tape... you can even create you own and play them at a low level with the entrainment coming from the device. Create your own learning tools. The L&S device could even be used on it's own much like bwgen.

The effect of paraliminal combined with sound entrainment (binaural beats etc) and light show is a hit with me. Saves me mucking around with the computer adding binaural beats to the tape. I've even used it with classical music.

Without the L&s device I would never have purcased the package. Too pricey especially when you get hit by expensive delivery, GST and customs duty added to the price

There wasn't much written material orignally. I agree that LSC provides better material personal choice.

I know I'm dredging up a past post here, but I am also interested in what Dane Spotts has done to deserve comments like this from Pete.

Moreover, a month or two ago, I received a brochure advertising Mindtek's new mediataion program (either it was new or it was a new offer, I can't remember). The thing is, the brochure was sent by Lifetools through Nightingale Conant, with Earl Nightingale or Vic Conant (Can't remember which) endorsing Spotts' program! He can't be that bad if NC are wiling to endorse him so please...what's the beef?

Just for the record, I bought a set of CDs from Mindtek a few years ago, and was very satisfied with what I got. I could feel the power of the Holosync in the mediatation programs a few minutes after I put the headphones on and his other programs on memory and vocabulary seemed fine. Admittedly, the vocabulary program was not as entertaining as "Million Dollar Vocabulary" but, on the other hand, it doesn't have the glaring flaws "MBV" does either! Not every product LSC makes is wonderful, although most I have used (and I have virtually all of them) are. But don't ask for my opinion of "Easy Learn" languages!

I can't comment on returns to Mindtek, as i was happy with what I received from them. If they don't return money without a fuss, as advertised, then these are grounds for negative comments, but I feel there is a lot more to it than that beneath the surface. I don't like to see customers ripped off.

Wow... no kidding about digging up the past I think Pete may have made that comment in 2000/1 when there was a couple of court cases against Dane Spott and issues of not refunding on the sale of faulty goods.

No doubt that's water under the bridge and really it wasn't a comment about the product.
