You'd be amazed at the careless mistakes I make with MATH. For some reason, over the past few years, I've grown extremely weak in the area of math. It puzzles me how I can't understand it. What my problem is, is that I usually make things way too complicated.
When recently adding and multiplying polynomials, I went nuts with the whole idea.
Besides that, however, it was my father's idea. I believe either the Part 2 of Can Jedi PhotoRead, or the Top Names topic has a comment from that I posted last night, talking about how I've only recently started to really tug hard on grades, and learn well in school.
And this guy, some of the stuff I talk about is beyond him. Mostly stuff I've learned about psychology, the human mind, dreams, etc. Most of the books I've EVER PhotoRead have to do with psychological reactions, brain activities, and brain functions.
We've only had two sessions and each time, he's said twice to my parents:
"Yeah. Man. . .I'm real impressed."
Other things while talking to my mom:
"Yeah, it's not a matter of brain capability at all. I'll tell you somethin' about this guy, though. Just from what I've seen. . .he is constantly just rocketing toward stuff. His only problem is he needs to just start bein' more careful. He's just careless at times."
And I always get this strange feeling I sound about twice as intelligent as all of his other students.
This entire school year, I've been having problems with math, and history. My math teacher partly blames the cirriculum, but mostly blames the kids. Even though nearly all of them are failing the class, and will fail the class for the year. (That might include even me.)
History, for some reason, has been an incredible problem. I know a lot of the things, but the assignments dig in the wound of my greatest weakness
rganization. Long story short: the assignments require great grades in order to successfully pass. Thus, bringing a stuggling grade up from the middle of the year is absolute hell.
