Thanks, guys! I appreciate the warning. Considering all that I have on my plate right now, I need to maintain at
least my current level of mood and functioning; this is NOT the time to "let all hell break loose."
[Brian, you have so much energy and resiliency that I doubt you have significant trauma to process. Great! By all means, "go for the goods" to the extent that you can. I appreciate your knowledgeable and energetic input, and hope that you will keep posting your breakthroughs/discoveries as you make them.]
A couple of questions: How will I know that I am in the optimum range (hz of both the pulse and carrier frequency)? It sounds as though the process should stir up SOME strong feelings (when?--immediately, or over the next few hours, or...) without being overwhelming. And how will I know when it is safe to lower the hz of pulse and/or the carrier frequency? Will it just seem that it having less effect, i.e. that I am getting "too comfortable?"
Also, are there some other "mixes" (perhaps available in the unregistered version for now) that will help me to feel "up" and more capable of constructive action? It seems I could devote a session or two to trauma release, and also have at least one session that is an "upper" each day.
I have already downloaded BWGEN, and am now just wondering what special headphones are necessary (I assume the ones that plug into my walkman won't work), and (newbie alert!) which jack on the computer they should be plugged into.
Thank you so much for all the great info! I am looking forward to learning about sound mixing and brainwave entrainment technologies. Stand by for updates and, most likely, more questions!
