It has been almost a year since I first read the PR book, and I think I have some results. I PRed a book a couple days ago and activated it today. Now, one thing, I hope I am right about this, that you beginners need to remember is that when you actually first PR a book, the results are enlightening or anything. The feeling isn't, "Wow! I remember everything about that book! I can read everything now at lightning fast speed!"

I simply had an understanding of the book with the least amount of effort. I barely read any of the book according to the old paradigm, but the purpose is not to read the book, but to understand the book.

I previewed the book and then used that information to form questions. (And by the way, mentally and/or verbally stating the questions and purpose is not enough. You have to genuinely want to know the answers.) I then PhotoRead the book (there was no more clarity to my understanding than there was after I previewed), and I went to sleep. Today I went to each chapter (well, only the first eight chapters: the others were irrelevant to my purpose) and dropped my eyes down the page (Super-reading). Then I found that my eyes were drawn to the beginning of certain sentences (it isn't as if I consciously knew that THAT sentence was important...I just accepted that my subconscious was directing my eyes to the important points...they just kinda blurred past the unimportant parts). At those points I read the sentences. Eventually after a bit of SR-Ding a chapter, I realized that my questions about it were answered, and I moved on to the next chapter.

Experienced PRers, please look over this and tell me if it is what I should be experiencing or if I am just mistaking chance for success.
