No, I haven't explored lucid dreaming. It's never really appealed to me.

The interesting thing is that since that night I've had very intence/vivid dreams. I normally dream, but nothing this intense. It's odd.

First dream was about being married to someone I'd never met. A greek wearing yellow plaid (yes, I dream in color). Last night was being drafted to fight in a war against the Iranians (I was explained in the dream that all wars are fought against the Iranians).

Truly bizarre.

Tracey

And what about your past with nightmares?

And as far as lucid dreaming, if these vivid/bizarre dreams are beginning to become a disturbance, then lucid dreaming could really help out theraputically.

never really had nightmares before .. most of my dreams are just dreams, I don't have any feeling after I wake up.

I'll look into lucid dreaming...

Thanks

Be looking foward to hearing your experiences with it.

Hi,
I thought I could contribute with my experience with the Personal Genius paraliminal which is similar to what tracy writes in her post.
I was listening to this tape every night for 4 days with no ill effects, quite the contrary, I was feeling sharper in problem solving at work, more sure of myself. I really had to put in a lot of work to appear smart.
On all previous days I hadn't gone to sleep with the paraliminal still playing, I would listen until the conclusion and take of my headset and go to sleep. However on the 5th day, if my memory is serving me, I fell asleep with the paraliminal still playing. I think what had happened is that since my portable cassette player doesn't stop at the end of the tape it continues on to playing the other side of the tape, I probably listened to the tape 2 complete times, mind you, while asleep. On the third pass, (I calculate this by the time I woke up and the time I think I fell asleep), I was having this feeling of fear and uncertainty that gripped me. I actually felt something crawling on my moustache!
In my thoughts, I had this distinct feeling that I was pushing my thoughts one way and I was being pulled another way. Very weird! All of these things I felt almost at the same time I was realizing that I was dreaming and in those seconds, I forced myself awake.
The crawling feeling on my moustache, I realized, was actually my breath coming in and out of my nostrils! I was so attuned to my senses, that in my dreams I think I was blowing everything out of proportion!

I didn't know how to subconciously process all that was being presented in the paraliminal, so I generated a feeling of fear because of the unknown. I also think that listening to paraliminals continuously should not be done. I recall that it is recommended that you listen to another one 20 minutes after the first.

I thought I'd share this so you know that, your not the only one!!!

Hey, now I KNOW I'm not the only one!!!

Maybe it's a subconcious fear of being brainwashed or something. The way you talk about "your thoughts going one way, and you going the other."

Interesting post.

I always listen to my paraliminals in bed, and I almost always "fall asleep". I say it that way because I don't believe I'm really asleep as I wake up the instant the tape clicks off. I tape off the headset and put it away and then I fall asleep.

I don't seem to know where to find the time to spend listening to these in a different manner. Perhaps that should be one of my purposes for listening to my tapes ..

I have all the paraliminals except (holiday cheer, stop smoking, sales and the youth one), and I've listened to them and I enjoy them with no adverse side-effects.

Howdy,
F.Y.I.
This has not happened to me since that time(about 2 months ago). I had just started using paraliminals and I had not used anything like it before.
I have really got used to listening to different paraliminals depending on my needs. I have not had any other similar feelings/fears. I feel that mentally I am more alert. I am mentally more active. Though I don't think that I am mental!
I am curious ,though, if tracey has been using other paraliminals, why would this occur with this Photoreading Activator paraliminal? Tracey, have you been using paraliminals a long time and how often?

I have not recieved an invitation in the mail to purchase it yet, but, if anyone else has it, they can post what outcomes they derived from listening to this tape.

The plot thickens....
