I am sure I can use your input in a positive manner, for example, the 'happy/smile while teaching' is always a good approach. I will likely have him, my younger brother, read(which he doesn't like to do) your posts.
I was also interested in any opinions on the Home Study Course or Seminar in this context. Since I haven't gone through any of these, I wanted to see if anyone can supply valid and positive feedback on these and if it will be more beneficial for a thirteen year old as opposed to using the PR book.

I've been PRing for almost 4 months now and I got the PR process down, however, I do modify it for my own needs. As to my own speed, it is about 1 200~300 pg book(history book for research) in @ 1 hr. I usually use 20 minute sessions(spaced out)to go through the PR steps then the final session I use the PR steps very quickly with emphasis on activating from my list of trigger words(usually a long list). I usually get what I need by that time, and sometimes even before the final 20 minute session. This is with the emphasis on recalling specific details(dates, names, etc.) that I need.
I am currently trying MM's (with a synoptic reading projects I'm working on) with a box of 96 Crayola Crayons, different color highlighters, and pens to speed things and it seems to help(hey, it works for me!).
I know I'm not as fast as the youngprer( 
), but I am pushing along trying to continually unload mental obstacles to speed my PRing up!
