My theory ..

Not everyone is a seeker. I truly believe that all of us here at this forum are seekers. WE are the ones who seek alternative answers, alternative therapies .. the road not taken.

My brother is very smart and he could benefit from learning PR'ing but he isn't interested. I'm the seeker of the family.

Things like reading we take for granted, we assume that we can't change the way we do things, especially fundamentals.

Take an adult re-entering college, a lot of them are TERRIFIED of math classes because they didn't do well in school previously and they don't feel they can change that fundamental "bad" math skill. Make sense?

Reading is elementary, like math. It's something we do everyday and we take it for granted. Asking someone to change that is like asking them to use their left hand to eat their dinner instead of their right hand. Can you tell I'm right-handed?

I think most people are afraid .. coupled with not being seekers.

I see the value of PR'ing, and I adore what it can do .. but at the same time, I *like* to read the normal way. I like to savor and taste each word as if it were the ripest of strawberries. *shrug*

Just my theories ..
