I have no problem getting the blip page and I don't suffer any eye strain from employing the photofocus technique. However, I have noticed some problems returning to normal focus after as little as 3-5 minutes of photofocusing. Is this normal?
Also, if I understand the book correctly, I get the impression that photofocus itself is not important -- that it is merely a way of seeing the page without engaging your conscious mind. So my question is, I have found that if I just open my eyes after doing the total relaxation technique, I have a soft gaze that does not focus on the words of the page, but does not produce a blip page either. Since I am still looking at the page, and am not consciously reading the words, this should work correctly, right? I hope so, because it doesn't mess up my eyes...
