This message is mainly for Pete. I have been considering dubbing the "meat" portions of Personal Genius and Memory Supercharger. I plan to continuously alternate them on both sides of a tape to listen to as I sleep. My question is whether or not I will lose any of the effects of the original copies.

I was also wondering if there are any binuaral beats on the tapes. I read some post that said they were "hidden in the ocean sounds" but wanted to know for sure.

Last but not least, I have a concern about my Self-Esteen Supercharger. Can you tell me what ear the voice using the mirror analogy is supposed to be in? It seems like it should be in the left ear (speaking to the right hemisphere) but I hear it in the right. There is nothing wrong with my headphones or tape player because on my other tapes the voice is always in the correct ear when checking at the start.

Thanks a million!

You can copy the tapes without loss of any technology. (Copyright laws allow people to copy copyrighted material for their own personal use, but not to share with others.)

There are no binaural beats on the basic 22 Paraliminal Tapes. The Euphoria Paraliminal is the first to have technology added.

New Paraliminal sessions that are part of larger programs will be indexed when they come out on CDs to make that easier. (Natural Brilliance, which will have CDs available in a few weeks will not be so indexed. People who have Natural Brilliance will be mailed an opportunity to get a set of CDs for a nominal charge.)

Some people think the Self-Esteem Supercharger is reversed because of what Paul says. It is not.

Then you must think there is some value to manipulating the sessions? I should have asked this months ago, but I'd be curious to know what Paul thinks about the effectiveness of mega-paraliminal sessions?

Thanks for the response Pete. And I don't even think the binuaral beats are necessary because after the countdowns I'm usually K.O.'d!

Hi again Prathiba. I saw that you are doing with Memory S and P genius EXACTLY what I am doing! I couldn't believe it! You know what they say about great minds thinking alike...anyway, what effects did you have? In addition to Paraliminals, I use Alphasonics subliminals for memory amd learning - 3 every day and continue one all night.

Inchiki,
I haven't dubbed the tape yet, believe it or not I'm currently lacking a double cassette deck (in the process of relocating). Hopefully, though, I'll be able to dig one up and make it soon. How long have you been listening to yours? Any effects? I read one of Pete's posts where he said there was a reported case of someone developing a photographic memory by listening to Mem Sup 24 hours a day for a month. If I get the Natural Brilliance course I'll include the N.B. paraliminal on the sleep tape as well. Natural Brilliance, Personal Genius, Memory Supercharger over and over and over, all night long. That's got to do something to the brain!

I have had success with superlearning. About a year ago I put 300 new vocabulary words/definitions, paced every 8 sec, with 60 beat baroque music on a tape. I didn't listen to a tape more than twice and remember the word to this day. Lately I've been typing tons of words/definitions into the computer and plan to "superlearn" them all. The big pain is obviously the time and effort in creating a tape, but in my limited experience it does work. As I mentioned above, photoreading the vocabulary books or dictionary, in my opinion, will complete the process by helping to deeply integrate the new words in the mind and make their usage more spontaneous and natural. Besides a larger vocabulary, what I'm really interested in is the supposed globalization of memory improvement, the potential for hypermnesia through this method.

Currently I've been more focused on putting together a solid, direct learning session. My main challenge has been deciding on which materials (books) to include. It wouldn't be a bad idea to open a post just for the purpose of listing great books to photoread or direct learn from. . .

Hi to everybody!

I´m new here and I´ve got a question.
When Pete wrote "Some people think the Self-Esteem Supercharger is reversed because of what Paul says. It is not." what did he mean?
That somebody could think the voices are reversed? If so then it is what I´ve believed until now.
When the paraliminal part of SE-Supercharger
begins Paul says "In your imagination...".
Is it supposed to be in the right ear? Or did
I cable my tape recorder wrong?

I asked Pete this question because I thought the voice speaking into the left ear "should" be speaking into the right ear. It seemed like the metaphorical story about the mirror was more right brain/left ear oriented and I wondered if I didn't have a reversed tape. From his reply, I gather that my assumption was wrong. The tape is correct.

All the other tapes I have begin with Paul demonstrating which ear each voice should be heard in, "This voice is in the right ear, and this voice is in the left ear." If you aren't sure about your headphones or cables, listen to some of the other tapes (if you have any) and you'll know for sure.

"In you imagination. . ." should be heard in the right ear.

Hi Pratibha!

Thanks for your quick reply.
If I understand correctly the metaphorical
story is assigned to the right brain and therefore it's heard in the left ear.
Did you mean perhaps the left ear where "In your imagination.." should be heard as it's the beginning of the metaphorical story?

Hi Prathiba, thanks for your answer and ideas. I haven't finished making the tapes yet but when I do and try them I will let you know.
I can see that we have some goals and ideas in common so I would like to offer any ideas I can. You talked about direct learning. Did you mean concious learning? If you did then I recently bought a really informative couse called Accelerated learning Techniques by Brian Tracy and Colin Rose.
I am surprised that you had such a good effect with "Superlearning"! I tried it wit foreign words and ...Zippo! I am not at all impressed with Ostrander and Schroeder's outrageous claims, to tell you the truth. I have had a much better and more concrete result with mnemonics.

By the way, you can very simply put binaural beats on any paraliminal or any tape you want by doing what I do: Use a pair of ear buds for the paralimanal or whatever and put on a pair of big headphones that surround the ear and play a binaural tape/Cd at the same time. Bob's your uncle! You can even feed 3 sets of ear buds into the ear pieces so you can have everything for a super mind blowing experience!
regards
