Actually the fact that younger people handle confusion better makes it easier for them to move through the confusion. They acknowledge confusion and don't get blocked by it. I think young people are more capable of solving problems in their lives than we give them credit for.
In reference to the post about wanting to make love post and issues like wanting one particular person to be in their lives, I see it as an outpouring of the 'all or nothing thinking', and the confusion and frustation associated with it without the means to work through it. It is very difficult to get out of these ruts.
With tools like GC and NB as well as the other Courses offered by LSC and other companies that aim to teach life enhancing skills in the hands of the younger people I believe that they would climb out of these ruts a lot quicker. Young people are much more capable than we give them credit for... if the courses were to prove too difficult for them, they, in their confusion would recognise it an let it go. It still remains the responibility of adults around these young people to act as guides. For eons young people have had to endure a variety of hardships... each generation has different problems (drugs and guns in schools and child slave labour in other parts of the world come to mind as problems the current generation faces)and yet there is still consistant ones that they need to deal with... abuse - mentally and physically, from their peers as well as adults. Each individual develops their own skills at their own pace and not all of the younger generation would be ready for products lie GC and NB. The ones that are will be drawn to it and I think it best that be allowed to give it a go, most certainly with the help of a more experience mentor, whether it be parent, teachers or cousellors. Personally I'd rather see them turning to tools like these to work through the difficult phases of their lives, than to turn to drugs or alcohol or similar means to overcome the pains of their experience.
Any tool misused has the knack of causing problems for the individual intent upon misusing them sooner or later they discover the consequences of their actions. The fact remains that we are all human and we all look for a quick solution to our problems, so at any age we can find ourselves misusing our skills. Adults can only do their best to guide. Sadly sometimes only experience is the harsh and extreme teacher.
The fact is that LSC courses are aimed toward the adults. I believe that there are individuals working on making similar tools like the GC for the younger people. In the mean time if a teenager wants to try courses like NB and GC I say don't hold them back, help them.
