As some of you heard from the earlier topic:Teaching a Teacher, my dad recently hired a tutor. Nearly every single session he has with me he tells my parents "He is amazing. I learn something new from him everytime I come here!"
Today I read The Einstien Factor. Yes, GREAT BOOK. I loved it. And to those who have purchased and used The Genius Code - it's incredible. I've already done the advanced civilization method (according to the book) without even realizing it was one of the methods!
Anyways, I was explaining the entire IQ thing with children before and after the age of four, and how children stop producing neurons after a certain age. He looked at my like I was from some crazy planet from somewhere way way out there. . .
Then, looking through the book, he comments, "Man. . .you're in eighth grade. This is stuff I learned in college. Some of it I never even would have guessed without this."
I showed him the Gravity Position, and talked about underwater swimming and Masking. Then when he thought back to his middle school and high school days, he recalled that swimmers, among himself and his friends all had higher grades than the other kids in his classes. Then, when he STOPPED, amazingly enough:he began to have trouble in school.
Now that I recall, so did I! Hah! Anyways, he looked as if he almost wanted to borrow the book from me. Everytime he talks about his experiences and his techniques with learning, and the entire process, I understand everything he says, and it has begun to bore me.
Any insight on what I should do?
