Hi,
I'm new to photoreading. The most reading I do is online. Can someone suggest a few pointers on Photoreading the Internet? I can get photofocus just fine. I can imagine an X across the screen but as I scroll down, I'm not sure if it's the same as turning the page. How fast should I scroll? Does the mind take a rolling snapshot of the screen?

I think that I read somewhere that rather than scrolling down, it is better to use the Page Down key. I imagine that you should maintain PhotoFocus while pushing Page Down in a steady rhythm, at about the same speed you turn pages of a book.

Scroll down, page down do what feels most comfortable... not all programs page down function is that terrific... Speed can be faster than page flipping on the computer you still pick it up... the reason it seems slower in a book is because we have to physically separate the pages, most can read faster than that and do so on a computer. Personal experience will be your indicator of how fast you want to go.

Options: scroll down in a smooth fashion, hit the page down key repeatedly, or hold the page down key.

Personally I prefer to hit the page down key repeatedly since scrolling can get jumpy on a long page and for some reason holding the page down key does not always work.

Thanks for the replies. I have a mouse with smooth roller wheel. It seems to be consistant for scrolling. I'll try the page down suggestion and see if it helps with photoreading.
