Hi Dan G what a great name 
When you look at the Random Dot Stereogram it is if you are looking in to a cave and the letters are perfectly clear ...the other way the picture looks like a rose bud and the letters are hard to tell but it pops out from my page about 12-18" pretty cool but not the right thing.
go back and read my post on May 26 regarding over convergence (Cross eyed)
But this is only my understanding
