It doesn't really matter how fast any one else is reading but it does matter that you can get through the written material at 1/3 time it took you when you started the course. From there it's up to you.

It seems to me that when potential photoreaders need to compare what others are doing they put up barricades to achieving their own improved speed. You immediate goal should be... instead of spending something like 9 hours on a book get it done in 3. That is achievable with the first time through the course. Speed is pointless if you overlook the fact that Photoreading is a learning tool.
