I've purchased "The Einstein Factor" by Win Wenger due to the hype I've been reading. My question is, although I'm still a beginner at PR, would I benefit reading this book, or should I try to PR this one. Keep in my mind, I have not successfully PR a book yet. Do you think reading this book will help me with PR which is why I should read it and not PR?

thanks,
-cK

I'd say give Photoreading a shot with it, and if you can't successfully activate the book then just read it the normal way. However, you'll still find yourself reading it a lot faster than normal after trying to Photoread and activate it. What I like about PR is that when all else fails, like for school materials or whatever, I've only spent like 45 minutes anyway, and I can still rapid read. BTW, EF covers PR.

The primary focus of the Einstein Factor is the technique called "imagestreaming." The PhotoReading process is mentioned in the book because the use of imagestreaming compliments your results with the Activation step.

So, cultivate your skill with imagestreaming. It will indirectly help you master the basics of PhotoReading, as well as all the other benefits you get from imagestreaming.

Use the mind map on page 68 of the PhotoReading book as a quick-reference while you are PhotoReading and fully activating your first several books.

Good luck!

How can I use image streaming to aid in activation?

I use imagestreaming in the following way:

1) PR book.
2) Relax and clear mind.
3) Note to myself any images that pop in my head (it's really that simple.)

It works pretty well. I PR'd Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and tried image streaming. Some of the images I got were:

1) The Rockies.
2) My old logic teacher.
3) A comic I had drawn about Descartes.
4) The emblem he uses throughout the book.

What was intersting was I got very few images about motorcycles or tools or even anything much zen related. I figured, "okay, I did something wrong."

But I didn't!

The book is primarily about a professor who discusses the relevance of logic to Quality, noting how in the world of logic and reason, it's hard to see where quality (basically if something is good or bad) comes in. The whole book is basically a chat ("Chautauqua" he calls them") about logic and stuff.

This helps because when you activate this is what happens:
1) Super read and Dip: You get a stronger feeling to dip, and when you see that the text you are dipping into is relevant to the images you streamed, it builds confidence and a "correct" feeling from the association between your conscious and other than conscious mind. Your ability to dip correctly will increase.
2) Rapid reading: You blaze over the text as you reactivate the right parts with a sense of familiarity. The Flow state is awesome when you are activating a section you "saw coming".

Image streaming is highly recommended, if only for the fact that at some point you may get as good as Pete and achieve consistent spontaneous activation. =)

Want to add...
My first IS experience:

1) Without PR
2) Relaxed and clear mind.
3) Asked myself as a test for IS:

What could I do, to get more business?

The answer was a picture of the villa of my previous trainer:

I saw it in a perspective, where it makes an representative appearance , easy to recognize for everybody.

My translation of this picture:
Stay more visible. It's a question of to be viewed.

This was very informativ. And a real compact information: I had only to spend 2 Minutes for this -concious- information gain.
