Hi everybody,

Just got back today...just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and will be helping out more often now. I was in the islands for about 3 weeks, and it was fantastic.

On a PR note, while I was taking a ferry in between islands, my skeptical brother lent me his book to see how fast it would take to read it.

I had just finished the pr step when he says, "Oh come on...you didn't read any of that..you just flipped those pages around."
"Yeah, but now I activate it."
"It sounds stupid..."
"Well, the only thing I know right now is that the main characters are John, Kelly, Linda, Matthew..."
"HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT? TEACH ME!!!"

Yeah, I never preview anymore unless the material is really dense, and even then I postview instead.

I was playing with a new technique with my brother's book. I'm calling it "bad pr".

Normally during the PR step, you put yourself in a type of state and flip the pages while in photofocus, not looking at any words. During a "bad pr" session, I do everything I normally do, except while in photofocus I glance and pick up trigger words very very quickly, especially names (in the case of my brother, this worked especially well). Then I run several photoflip passes correctly, then activate with combined skitter and rapid reading.
