You don't have to be so careful or exact with photofocus. If I don't see the blip page I usually think about the stuff in the room to my sides, like chairs or whatever. Sometimes if I find myself looking at the words I image stream silently while I flip and that helps a lot. All that matters is that you look at the book without seeing the words, while maintaining a relaxed state.
