I've just read Buzan's Head First, and I have become increasingly interested in the brain. I like to visualise the photoread book hitting the visual cortex at the back of the head, then moving in ripples through the 'thinking cap' of the cerebral cortex and the hippocampus.

Does the ability to visualise the brain processes involved in PR increase their efficacy? Has anyone done MRI scans on Photoreaders photoreading to see which parts exactly of the brain are made active. I would be most interested to find out.

Yes. People who have developed their own imagery for the processing and communication taking place, have always performed highest in our live seminars.


Has anyone done MRI scans on Photoreaders photoreading to see which parts exactly
of the brain are made active. I would be most interested to find out.

No MRI studies yet. Single Photon Emission Tomography using radio isotopes and 16 Channel EEG, but no MRI.

If you read the literature pertaining to pathways for implicit learning, you will have the best available hypothesis for the pathways of PhotoReading. One thing is fairly certain...it does not rely on the primary visual cortex as the first step.

Do you have the results on the test you mentioned? It's just that we get the "give me scientific proof" question from skeptics a lot, and I wanna throw something at'em next time around.
