I have decided that I might buy the system but I just wanted to know what you thought of the photoreading system and if it is worth it, also how long it took you to finish it and be able to photoread?

Most of us who bought the system are glad we did. It has the added benefit of adding a structured way of learning the method. In particular getting into the accelerated learning state, which does not come easy for most people who have not experienced this in some form or another. The younger generation (ie those under 16 years) of age find this easier to achieve generally. Older generations for the most part need to learn it again and this is much easier with a tape to guide you.

There are 8 tapes and only listening to the tapes would take less than 5 hours however when you work with the tapes you are realisticly looking at 9 to 12 hours. When you listen and work with the tapes as instructed you'll find you'll you'll be able to put photoreading to the test on a daily basis and with practice it becomes second nature.

Another added benefit of the course you can contact LSC and speak to the coaches personally. They love it if you've done the course once right through before you contact them. Since you might feel stuck and just continuing with the course to the end makes it all clear. That way you can also clearly explain to them where you are stuck.

The course comes with a money back guarantee which LSC does honour. So it is worth a go.

Alex

Well, if you hate reading like me...and I mean, really hate it...then photoreading would obviously wont help you as much since you dont like reading in the first place. However, if you enjoy taking the time to read things regularly, then this is DEFINITELY the system for you! I've tried it a couple times (woulda use it more often, but I'm too lazy to pick up a book to start reading) and guess what? Luckily for me, it worked on my first try to photoread a book. Good luck with your experience with photoreading when you get it.

I wouldn't say that, Eagerchild. If anything, the exact opposite in my case. For me, the one thing that actually made me like reading at all was this system. And now I'm enjoying every second of processing information faster than any of my friends, or family. The sad part is, I've offered to teach them and they refused!

One question, though, James - why go to a board ABOUT the system, when you probably already know that since you're asking that question, people will give you pretty much nothing but positive responses. Just a thought.

Still, those positive responses are well earned. Get the system. Even if you don't like reading even after you learn the system, I garentee it has more benefits than you could possibly imagine.

I hate reading too, and that's precisely why I use Photoreading--no fluff, no wasted time.

I would have to consider myself a bookworm for as long as I can remember. I used to average 2 to 4 books per week and did a fair bit of reading on the same topic from different authors... I just wanted to get through it faster especially the books that were... not as well written.

Then I had to give up reading. Now I read 2 to 3 books a day.

You have time for that Alex? That would take me AT LEAST two hours a day. I usually do about 2 a week these days. I'm just TOO BUSY!!

How fast are you, though?
