how do I photoread Dictionaries and Factbooks? I want to absorb everything in the books, so there's no point in writing triggerwords, and if I superread and dip followed by rapid reading, I would simply read the entire book and that would probably take an entire day

im not sure what other people do, but it think that if you just photoread it over and over and over the vocabulary in the dictionary would be put into your brain and then just close with mastery and dont forget the purposes and ending with affirmations. maybe after that, to activate, you could just rapid read or skim over all of the words, with open gaze so your brain catches the definitions. if you could get some kind of vocabulary test that might help. otherwise it would be spontaneous activation, like when you're searching for a word, one might pop into your head that you dont usually use. try it out and see. try to use memory supercharger if you have it, or try to get it, or just scratch all that and buy $million vocabulary course from LSC.

If you just want to get general improvement from the dictionaries and factbooks. Just photoread them nightly for a couple of weeks and see what comes up. As in a sort of direct learning experience don't worry about activating them.

However if you have a specific goal and want to demonstrate you general knowledge then you would apply what ever memory techniqes you can get working for you on them. When learning a new language just PR the dictionaries of the chosen language regularly for a while... no activation required. It comes with the regular lessons or use.
