I recently heard of photoreading and have been exploring the forums/web site for a while now. I have always been a slow reader, and because of this, i have never particularly enjoyed reading in general. I am in highschool at the time and am managing to get by without strong reading skills, but i fear that as i progress in school i am basically going to have to work my a$$ off more and more. I am very curious about photoreading, but as i read articles such as this,

I can't begin to understand how to get into these deep phases of relaxation, and how photoreading would feel in general, and therefore I don't really have a starting point. I have thought about simply getting the program, but i am not prepared to spend, and possibly waste this much money on something that is going to end up sitting in my closet. One question: how long did it take you (an average photoreading resultant prepherably), to learn the program (how many hours per week maybe, and how long before you were comftorably photoreading). Anyway, thanx for your time.
