Try this: while relaxing, slowly close your eyelids and roll your eyes upward - pretend you're looking at the ceiling through the top of your head.

After about 15 seconds, you should feel a change. I find this works pretty well, and I use it more than the tangerine technique.

You won't 'feel' very different when you enter the accelerative learning state since you do it naturally all the time. It's just being feeling relaxed. Free from worry and comfortable. The younger you are the easier it is for you to be relaxed so it hard to tell any real difference. Round about the ages of 16 to 17 you notice more tension in your body and then you notice that there is some difference when you enter the accelerative learning state.

So if you feel calm and relaxed like you could if you were lying back in a nice warm bath you're in accelerative learning state. If you feel like you're being chase by some crazy person with a wooden stick... you're tense and away from the accelerative learning state.

and if you find yourself falling asleep, you've gone too deep into theta which is not the accelerative learning state

I read in a book to position your eyes at a 45 degree angle and it will automatically put you in an accelerative learning state.
I have tried this and it works.

i commend you, alex, that was a very good way to put it... funny and weird, but good. i really need some of the tapes they have to buy here... "Get around to it" and such things... im just too lazy and i feel too busy. i would like the 15 minute supercharge i think it would help me a lot. lol but first i need some MONEY! oh well bye

Neo,

Just move your eyes 20 degrees up. Just slightly turning the eyes up is enough to trigger the Accelerative learning state. Even my contact wearing friends have no problem turning their eyes up that far. Yes it works. The more you do it the faster it becomes.

Alex how long do you keep your eyes at 20 degrees? I find that when I look at the top of my head I feel pain under my eyebrows (sp)

Inhale & move eyes up slightly to a spot just above eye level. That's 20 degrees.

Exhale & lower them. Do it a few times & you're there.
