You're no "spring chicken" yourself Margaret. Yes sweetheart, even to this day, that is how I photoread. Most people get soooo hung up on the blip page. I don't care whether it is there or not. The thing is to maintain a relax and soft gaze which I do naturally due to many many years being involved in the marital arts. Thanks for the "interesting human" comment.

how long did it take you to learn the alphabet and how to read? how long do you think it will take you to learn something AT LEAST 3 times better? Less than it sounds. Work at it for a while and read through the book(or listen to the tapes) and make sure you understand how everything works. For the blip, or divergence, get the "Magic Eye" book(s) or any stereograms you can find, follow the instructions. If that doesnt work, just practice focusing on things at different distances up until where you can control what distance your eyes are focusing at.
This morning I started classes at school(JUNIOR!! 04!) and the teachers were handing out their syllabi. During the explanation of the class, I photoread the textbook. I haven't activated anything yet but I plan to photoread it over and over again, and then speedread it several times when I need to. After every photoreading session I've had, I can feel that my brian is loaded with new information. I cant grasp it immediately, but I know that it's there. People looked at me funny 'cause I was just gazing at my book, flipping away. When they see my grades, they'll know why I did it. Don't worry about getting it right, just practice it.
