I guess I wasn't very organized about it. Before opening the book I asked myself, "What do I need to know for my test on this book?" Then i opened it up to the first page and looked around but I didn't really get the feelings that something was attracting me to certain portions of the text. I turned the pages and just didn't get any feelings. So, instead, I just started reading the parts where it seemed there were no descriptions. Then I came up with the idea to find out what each of my trigger words are (they were mostly character names and places). I started to do that and then I kinda got into the book and started reading. I basically read everything because everything seemed to be a candidate for a test question.
