CodeWarrior,

Take it easy on yourself. Some folks are having trouble getting into the swing of it with the tapes. Book learning is one of the more difficult ways to learn and we must allow for the fact that it probably takes longer to learn that way for most people.

Play with the parts that do make sense and seem to work a bit and add the other parts of the method bit by bit. Give yourself breathing space. See yourself as successful for even giving it a go up to this point. While the system has 5 parts, Prepare, preview, Photoread, activate, and rapid read. You can learn them in any order. You might find that you have no problem with preview and photoreading. Rapid reading might come easier than superreadind and dipping so you're likely to do that after photoreading for a while until you're ready to experiment with the activation techniques again.

Notice what parts of the system you do seem to understand and give yourself credit for that. Keep playing with the parts that you can do and allow yourself to get ready for the activation part in your time. It usually becomes a lot easier when you don't push it.

Alex

Hypnosis is a meaningless term. We go through altered states all day long (night too). If youre afraid of hypnosis because of religeous reasons, better stay awake 24 hrs. a day. Of course if you do that you'll start to hallucinate, voila!! another altered state. If you believe you cant be hypnotized, you've just hypnotized yourself to believe that too. "And so it goes." I've been photoreading for a week. I can photoread, but I'm having a hard to to preview and all of the other steps. I figure as well as you should or could, that I will give it at least three months of my time. If I don't have it well by then, then I will probably stop. So give it a lot of studying and in a couple more months if you still are in the same situation then you can make up your mind what to do. But if you look at the photoreading system, in the end you have nothing to lose but time, and we waste enough of that doing things that won't increase what we know. Plus if it does work, then you will know something that, I bet 1 in 300 people know. Won't that be cool. So keep trying, I'm positive it's going to work. It even tells you that you have to remain confident for a while before it starts to work. I just think or my little niece, I thought why in the hell can't she walk it's so easy, same with talking. She see's and hears of people doing it everyday. That's what good about the forum all these people are already walking and talking. You and I are just taking that first step and pritty soon we will be able to walk, and later on be able to run. Hey hope this helps you keep up with the photoreading.

Brandon
