Uncle please explain your questions with a bit more detail on the post.

If you're asking how long it takes to learn to use photoreading... Answer: as long as it takes. We are all individuals and have different priorities some will start the course and not finish it for some time... others have more difficulty learning it in anycase so they spend longer at it. It varies.

If you are asking how long it takes to do the *home study course* first time... Answer: 12 hours would be what you would expect to spend on the course.

If you're asking how long you can photoread for... Answer read in 30 minute sessions and take regular breaks.

ok,my English is not good,i learn photoreading for 4 days,but my PH skill still cannot improve.i not know the problem is what..

Youngprer, I agree, I pointed out 3 of 6 ways I was able to interpret that question.

Uncle, Comparing how long it takes you to learn to Photoread will not help your progress.

Tell us what you are doing, where are you experiencing problems? Your Photoreading can improve. It might just take a little longer.

Since english isn't your first language. Tell the forum what language you speak. Perhaps someone can get in touch with you via email to help you in your own language.

Youngprer was just trying to be helpful.
If he had wrote, "Alex K., you don't know blank about blank" then yes, he would be showing disrespect but not in this case, he is trying to be helpful.
Are you one of them people who think anything a kid says is backtalk and disrespectful? That they should just answer "yes or no"?
Do you still think "Children should be seen and not heard?"
For the record, I am 29 years old.

By the way: young prer has been a member of this forum since January, 2002 while you have been a member since July 2002, saying that I'd say you are the one who is "just coming in and telling people what to do"

I see "uh-oh's" ahead.

Let's back up a bit, since I think this thing is unnecessarily spinning out of control.

The way I've been keeping score, I got the impression that what happened is this:

Uncle, who has difficulties speaking English, asked a question that was a little hard to understand.

Alex thought of six possible ways to interpret Uncle's question, and listed three of them.

Youngprer noticed that the first line of Alex's post might be misread as insulting instead of helpful, and suggested perhaps rewording that line.

Alex agrees, but I think there was some miscommunication here.

Krisk thinks Youngprer was insulting Alex, and defended Alex.

Jonah defends youngprer.

Everyone yells at everyone, all hell breaks loose - local reverends ban break dancing at all town functions.

So everybody take a step back and make sure we're all on the same page.

I understand you, Alex and Young PRer.
I just do not understand why krisk would write something suggesting that Young PRer was being disrepectful to Alex by suggesting a rephrasing of a question/statement. And krisk also wanted to know "who are you to question Alex..You just come in here and try to tell people what to do."
