Dan, with regular practice and activation of the books you photoread the text on either side of the blip also becomes clear. A strengthening of the eye muscles takes place. The text can become quite sharp and in forcus... lifting off the page (or so it seems). You notice the white paper surrounding the letters more than the text itself but gone are the blurred fuzzy edges. It is like muscles built up with weight training over a time they get stronger and suddenly you notice that you're lifting weights with ease whereas before you struggled with them

Let it happen, when it happens. Ramon did an excellent job of showing what Photofocus looks like. That is all you need in order to photoread and activate any book you choose. The blurred state is perfect for photoreading. The clarity appears over time, naturally it will depend on how fequently you photoread. If one is a very casual user of the technique then in all probablity the text will remain blurred for them indefinately. It doesn't really change the photoreading process. Flipping the pages, while maintaining a steady photofocus gaze, while in the accelerative learning state for photoreading. If you're getting it like in the pictures Ramon posted without going crosseyed then you're doing it right.
