Book learning is a little harder fo some. Younger folks usually find it a bit easier because they are more open to learning. It might take a little longer with just the book since the tapes guide you through the process. You'll be able to PhotoRead before you get your first credit card if you give it a fair go. The forum can help expain a bit more when you're not sure about something and a bit of enthusiasm helps.
