At my school, I'm the only person I know who even knows what photoreading is. I haven't been doing it long, I'm not too great at it, but I'm seeing improvement. Trouble is, whenever I tell my freinds about it, they think I'm going insane. Only person who remotely belived me was my girlfriend, who now dosn't, since I brought up the topic of Auras one day (i can see them with almost no concentration at all).

I'd like to tell people and spread the news of this great "trick", but everyone thinks I'm crazy or just beliving hype. Think I should just hide PRing to myself, and avoid the criticism?

Vitamins were once regarded as a waste of money until it was proven otherwise. The same goes for Hypnosis (generaly thought to be a sham until it was used in hospitals and documented in Medical Journals). Same goes for mercury filings, lead in gasoline, cancer and cigarettes, toxic office environments, radiation from CRTs on pregnant women... The list goes on. Most people have a mortal fear of being different from the crowd or be seen as "deviant". You'll find the public in general will be sceptical about something right up to the point that someone in a leadership position or a famous person says otherwise; even if all the facts are clearly laid out in front of them.
It always takes an intrepid few to blaze the trail so the rest can follow!

PhoenixMDM,
I understand your problem and it is rather common. The best way I found to deal with it is just do it. Gain the benefits and just keep moving on ahead. Once people notice that you are achieving results surpassing theirs they become curious. That's when you slowly 'show' them what you are doing.

I had a teacher that told taught us "Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see." Fact is we didn't need to be told that, it seems to be a natural reaction from people.

So keep it to yourself while you are still mastering it, so as to allow yourself space to get comfortable with the system first. Being criticized at this point cannot benefit you. So, only say something when someone notices that you are doing something different and asks about it, then casually let them know. You'll have many more wanting to know about the system when you find yourself producing personally satisfying results.

My motto is:
"If they refuse to believe it - it's their loss!"

Keep it to yourself, and prove it to them. Then they'll be like, "OMG! HE'S NOT INSANE!"

That will soon be happening with me.

Better by showing 'em, eh youngprer? We all seem to start out wanting our friends to enjoy the benefits and grow with us as we learn.
