I think my main problem is that I'm never sure whether or not I'm actually gaining comprehension through the photoreading step. What I'm referring to is when I last photoread a book (a short book), I seemed to only remember those parts of the text that I had dipped into while on the super-reading and dipping stage. What I should have said on my last post was - how do I know if I'm gaining comprehesion from the photoreading step or the super-reading step alone. I have one idea that I suppose has a slight chance of revealing the answer - I have a few textbooks on various subjects that I only know a fair amount (or have forgotten by now) and most of the textbooks have self-tests at the end of the chapters - I can read a chapter then do the test (photoread the chapter). If anyone has any better ideas do not hesitate to tell me.
