The only way I've managed to identify premonition dreams is that I have them more than once. I had these lucid dreams over three days. It gave me an opportunity to test out my preferred reaction when it happened.
That seems to be a common factor about them amongst others too. They occur more than once. Whether more of our dreams are premoniton dreams would be hard to say. Since most people don't record their dreams they have no way of checking if they dreamt something would happen and it did. Another problem with dreams is that they are usually a metaphors. They give you an idea, emotional experience or storyline that you could identify as a premonition if you understood your dream codes.
How do they work? I can only guess. I see the mind as a logic calculator. It works out where you are at a given point, collects all the known data about the situation and gives a reasonable conclusion of what is possibly going to happen in your life next. For situations of greater emotional impact you often have more warnings. Hence repeated dreams.
The next question how does the mind collect all the data? It would be interesting to find out. I came across some research that seemed to show that our throughts first occur outside of our bodies. A change occurs in the fields surrounding our body. The body picks up these sutble cues and reacts on them before they are even registered in the brain. I am searching for more information about that research. I only saw a brief mention of it.
This makes me wonder if we, as human beings, have been restricting knowledge that is readily available to us if we only take the time to learn how our inner mind is communicating with conscious mind. Rather than using the conscious mind to train our inner mind to react and behave in certain ways. Perhaps we should be using our conscious mind to understand what the inner mind knows. It is accepted that the inner mind is capable of processing more information than the conscious mind. My experiences with Photoreading and the Genius Code makes me suspicious that I already know all what I want to know. That the things I seem to be learning. I already knew, I am just 'activating' that information by reading a book, asking questions and putting myself into situations that challenge my beliefs.
Perhaps it's time for the chicken (conscious mind) to stop telling the eagle (inner mind)that it can't fly and let the eagle soar?.
