While he wouldn't recommend it to a student of literature or reading for enjoyment of phrasing Shakespeare's work. I personally think it can be used successfully by someone with those goals in mind. Since you are more likely to spend more time with a book with those goals while regular reading them than you would for other books. You would also spend a bit more time photoreading those books than you would spend photoreading other books.
In other words it would be unrealistic to expect to photoread a book of literature or Shakespeare where you would spend 50 to 100 with the book by regular reading and then expect to gain full conscious knowledge of those books in 30 minutes. It would be more reasonable to expect to gain suffient knowledge in 25 hours
