I don't remember any biblical restrain to develop our minds. I remember things about witchcraft, divination, talking to dead people and that kind of things, but there is no restriction on using technology for mind development at the extend of my knowledge (if you want my opinion, not all what most christians believe to be evil is indeed evil. Telepathy isn't evil, it is a human skill that very few of us do, [I don't have developed it]; Jesus Himself read his companions minds, that's very clear). I believe that God want us to develop to our full potential, He made us that way. Do you remember Genesis?
quote:
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
God created us in His image, and how is Him? So, is it unbelievable that we can have great skills? Remember the huge task that God gave Adam to do? Naming all that animals. That's huge, and he did it. He was a man with great skills. We can too! And I seems to me that God wants us to do it, by technology or otherwise. My opinion.
