Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Does this actually work?

I have been looking around on the Photoreading website and I have seen the infomercial, but i really want to know does this system actually work.

I am currently in high school and I am taking an AP Us History course. This class consists of a lot of reading and memorization of specific dates and events. And i wanted to know if Photoreading would help me to get through the information faster and help me to actually remeber most of it? I would also like to use Photoreading for just improving my reading speeds and comprehension in general.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could tell me what you think of the program and if it is really worth shelling out 250 bucks.

Ya it works. I'm pretty sure that photoreading can help you with your history class and about eney thing else you would need to read. I have nothing but good things to say about the course, everything is put in a really easy to follow manner and the instruction's are clear.
Even with the price of the system I think it is well worth it.

Thanks alot for replying i was also wondering if the system helps at all with mastering a forgein language.

Yes the system has been used by a number of forum members to help learn a foreign language. They usually photoread the language dictionary and class lesson material for good effect.

I took AP US History last year, and I used PhotoReading for reading assignments and mind-mapping for notes and lectures. I ended up scoring a 5 (highest possible) on the AP exam at the end of the year. It worked great for me.

I took it last year too and I was hoping PR would magically help me. Unfortunately I was too lazy to thoroughly activate the information so I did poorly in the class and got a 2 on the exam. Oh well, I do remember the one time I actually did a reading assignment. The next day I mentioned some profound thing from the text and it blew the class away. They wanted to see where it was in the text and I easily found it for them.

cosider getting memory optimiser for memorising, i think photoreading is really good for learning quicker with great compresion , i love it.

So if i were to get photoreading and the memorization thing you spoke of,about how long would it take to be able to use it in class?

It really is going to depend on you. How much time you are willing to apply. If you do the tape course once through you'll need to invest about 12 hours. That way you learn and use it at the same time. Then you have to decide how inclined you are toward studying on your own... well with the forum to help.

No one can give you a time to say how long it's going to take you. You have to do the work if you want to... it can be a week or it can be months... up to you.

Acutally i was planning on getting the tapes and listening to them in one day, is this practical? Or would it be a better idea to do say 4 tapes a day over a few days?
