Wombats don't eat meat, besides they'd never catch one of our giant grasshoppers on their stubby legs. Anyway you got to be hopping mad to go after one of those.
As for living 100 years... I doubt it, though I'm not willing to crawl down one of their burrows to discuss it with them to verify that for you. They may think they are rabbits, they are not.
