Let it all be blurred... you're not paying conscious attention to it while photoreading so it doesn't matter how it looks to the conscious mind. Anyway look at the "pattern" of the white space. As long as this scares you why not stick to photoreadng upside down. It gets the conscious mind out of the way and lets the inner mind get on with the work.

As long as the conscious mind keeps trying to do the work the inner mind doesn't take it up fully. Ever had the experience of someone teaching you something and while you have them around watching you, you were like, all thumbs, and worse was, they kept taking it off you, to do it 'for you' or show you 'again' how to do it, while you just wanted to try and 'get' it right, just once? Then when they finally went away and let you struggle on your own, it may have been a bit of a stuggle, but once you got it, you got it?

That's how it is when we hand over the task of 'reading' to the inner mind through photoreading. Chanting, steady page turning blurred focus of the page are all methods aimed at getting the conscious mind to quieten down while the inner mind does the job for a change. Yep practice makes perfect
