The photoreading step on a book only takes a couple of minutes. Why not photoread your textbooks just for practicing the photofocus state, before regular reading them? Practising the photofocus step on a 3 to 5 books a day helps make the process seem more natural and if you manage to breakthrough and experience a bit of spontaneous activation it may as well be on textbooks Doing the full proceedure on non text books to get it working for you is an excellent move. You might want to try the five day test on one page 76 of the photoreading book.
