If the books you are referring to required knowledge for the exam I'd activate them and would PR/direct learn from additonal books on the same topic/alternate textbooks.
Definately visualise yourself passing the exam and becoming certified on a daily basis.
Don't stress yourself into thinking you have to PR the textbooks that you are DLing from on a daily basis. If you only manage it once then that's enough. A couple of DL sessions on different books is an excellent move.
