I hope I can carry on the exercises with out the work book cause I really can't find them... I think my room mate did something with it... Anywayz, I was just wondering, say I work with the photoreading tapes for about an hour a day... How long do you guys think I'll take (usually) for me to photoread with about 80% comprehention???
Also I'm thinking of using articles from magazines to work on the exercises. Do you guys think this is a good idea?? I mean, its better than nothing right?? or do I have to use the materials from the work book?? I don't want to reorder the program.. I dont have that much money!!
THanks....

You can use articles from magazines, it is a suggested alternative. When you consider going through the course again it natually makes sense to try it on something else. You look at things differently. When you've seen the material before you tend to wonder if you've really experienced what Paul wants you to experience. So getting fresh material is helpful.

Yes carry on without the workbook use other articles you'll not be able to experience some of the exercises.

The reason you didn't get an answer to this

How long do you guys think I'll take (usually) for me to photoread with about 80% comprehention???

We don't even have a regular name for you How can anyone tell you how long its going to take you to... tie your shoes, run a mile, bake a cake. The fact is only you could know and only you can find out by trying it. It's like asking us how long we think it's going to take you to become the world greatest athlete. Sorry we didn't take your question seriously

We don't even have a clue what your current comprehension level is. You are an individual you work at your own pace you learn at your own pace.

All we can really tell you is... After you've gone through the course the first time, Doing all the exercises on the tapes, you would be able to gain your normal(whatever it is now) level of comprehension for a book, in about 1/3 the time. In other words if a book takes you fifteen hours to regular read and you get 60% comprehension. Then after learning and applying the photoreading steps, as a beginner, it you should be able to maintain your level of comprehension and finish the book in five hours.

To get better than that... all I can really say ... try it and see afterall it really is up to you.

Beware of asking others to tell you what you can do...

When others tell me, what I can do or cannot do, that is their limitation. Why would I want to own that?. When I think, "this I can do" and know in my heart I can do it, it becomes my inspiration and aspiration. It only becomes my limit when I've reached my goal. - A Alex Kaeffer

If you learned something that is useful to you then, it was neither a waste of time nor a question that shouldn't have been asked. Yep that's definately OK.

Saves me time and I have fun with it. Let us know how you go. Keep asking questions, they usually lead to learning that makes all questions good.
