Paul, Pete or Dana:

Once upon a time I remember some talk on the forum about the entire 8 tape PhotoReading series being available on CD. Has this become a reality yet? If so, how can I get a copy if such an item exists?

Thanks in advance for answering my question!

Yes, the CD is available. It comes together with the tapes.

I bought the home study course before the CD was available. Now I would like to purchase the CD only. Is this a possibility?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, just call Learning Strategies and tell them that you have the home study couse on tape and that you would like CD's. They'll send you the CD's.
They're supposed to send out a flyer announcing that they have CDs.
Just Call Them.

wouldnt this mean that they have been compressed to mp3 files? i converted them myself and i put 2-3 files(1 file=side a or b of 1 tape) so i have 8 cd's , the 7th has memory supercharger and i have 1 other CD with memory supercharger and side a of tape 1 for getting my friends to buy photoreading. i like the quality of the .wav files i used, i didnt want to make them mp3 i thought it might affect the quality too much... this is a good marketing strategy since most people have cd players, and youth can learn photoreading in time to change their life while they are already learning.(like me!)

just using speed reading and some reading techniques from the photoreading system, along with the memory supercharger, i have changed from maybe a 2.5 GPA to almost a 4.0(B+ in pre-calculus...), i havent even activated any books i photoread yet.

I called LSC and ordered my CD of the 8 tape home study course.

Tapes tend to stretch, and break after a certain amount of use. The CD has quite a longer life span from regular use and can be buffed out if it gets scratched up and still work for a long time afterwords.

The cost was $16.00 for the CD, and $4.00 for shipping and handling. Since I called on Friday afternoon they said they would ship it Monday and I should receive it some time next week.

Thanks again for the helpful info on the forum. This forum makes it quicker and easier to share info and get answers to questions.
